Supported files and workflows
Automated File Review accepts production PDFs. Non-PDF formats may be assessed only within a quoted human service.
Nexomata supports commercial-print workflows. Product, equipment, substrate, finishing, trapping, color, overprint, and printer-specific requirements can change what is technically suitable.
Customer responsibilities
Customers must provide lawful artwork and available production specifications, retain backup copies, review results and deliverables, and remain responsible for final proof and production approval.
Technical limitations
Not every file can be analyzed or repaired. Limitations include:
- Corrupted PDF structures
- Missing linked assets or fonts
- Password protection
- Unsupported formats
- Incomplete artwork
- Insufficient image resolution
- Extensive design deficiencies
- Licensing restrictions
Production suitability
A result reflects the configured checks and accepted scope for that job. It does not guarantee a printed result, color match, universal printer acceptance, or compatibility with every production environment.
Processing and timing
Automated File Review is usually completed within minutes. Standard Automated Repair is usually completed within minutes after approval. File size, complexity, security scanning, demand, and processing failures can extend automated processing. Human and quoted services receive a timing estimate before work begins.
Versioning and retention
Original uploads are preserved and corrections create new versions. New requirements or expanded scope may require a revised quote.
30 days is the current production-file retention target. Customers must retain their own backups.
Automation and production responsibility
Automated findings are not human verification. Professionally Verified Review is a separate service. Final responsibility for authorizing files for print remains with the customer.
